Soya Methi Chicken Karhai
Ingredients:
600g Chicken
1/2 cup Clarified Butter
4 Medium Onions (sliced)
1 1/2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 Black Cardamom
1 Bay Leaf
1 Cinnamon Stick
10-12 Cloves
10-12 Black Peppercorns
1 tbsp White Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Red Chillie Powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Salt or as per taste
2 Green Chillies
1 Tomato (sliced)
4 tbsp Yogurt
1/2 Bunch Dill
2 tbsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves
Instructions:
In a pot, add chicken. When it turn slightly white, then add clarified butter, onions, ginger-garlic paste, red chillie powder, turmeric powder, salt, tomato, yogurt, black cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, black peppercorns, white cumin seeds, and green chillies. Leave it at a low flame till chicken gets tender. Then add dill and dried fenugreek leaves. If you want a bit more gravy, then add 1/2 cup water. When done, serve it with roti.
