Palak Chicken Qeema (Spinach & Minced Chicken)


Ingredients:

500g Chicken (minced)

1/2 kg Spinach

1 Bunch Dill

2 tbsp Fenugreek Leaves (dried or fresh)

1 Red Onion (sliced)

1 Tomato (sliced)

4 Green Chillies

4 tbsp Clarified Butter

1 Bay Leaf

4 Cloves

4 Peppercorns

1 Black Cardamom

1 Cinnamon Stick

1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp Salt or as per taste

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp All Spices Powder (Garam Masala)


Instructions:

In a pot, pour clarified butter. Add Bay Leaf, cloves, Peppercorns, black cardamom, cinnamon stick. Add sliced onion. Crackle these till the onion slices turn lightly brown or transparent. Add Minced chicken and salt. Cook till it turns white. Add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, tomato and green chillies. Cook these well. Then add chopped spinach. Cook it till the water dries. Then add dried fenugreek leaves. When done, serve it with roti.
