Tali Hui Mirchain (Fried Green Chillies)


Ingredients:

10-12 Green Chillies

2 tbsp White Cumin Seeds

1 tsp Coriander Seeds

A pinch of Fenugreek Seeds

1/3 tsp Salt or as per taste

4 tbsp Clarified Butter

4 small Lemons (juiced)


Instructions:

Grind white cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Keep them aside for now. Pour clarified butter in a pan. Add green chillies and some salt to avoid splattering. Fry till green chillies become cripsy and are lightly brown in colour. Remove the pan from the flame and add the powder mixture of seeds. Add lemon juice in the end. Fried Green Chillies.


Tip 1 🍽️:

You can roast the seeds prior to grinding them. Do not over roast.

Tip 2 🍽️:

You can also use Tamarind pulp instead of lemon juice.
